The full formula

Filter by what each ingredient is here for. Every functional claim below is an authorised UK nutrient claim from the GB register, attributed to the nutrient that earns it.

First, the thing no other supplement page will tell you. Botanicals like ashwagandha, red clover and lion's mane have no authorised health claims in the UK. Most brands imply things about them anyway. We won't: where you see "no claim permitted", that's the law working as intended, and us respecting it. They're in the formula because Anna wanted them there, at meaningful extract strengths, and you deserve to know exactly how much you're getting.

Vitamin B6

Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P5P), the active form
SteadyRestedHormonal
10mg714% RI

The busiest nutrient in the formula, included as P5P so your body doesn't need to convert it first.

Contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, normal psychological function, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Magnesium

Oxide + bisglycinate, two forms
SteadyRestedStrong
56.25mg15% RI

Two forms, including gentle, well-absorbed bisglycinate. At 15% RI it meets the threshold for its claims, and we tell you that plainly.

Contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal psychological function, and the maintenance of normal bones.

Vitamin B12

Methylcobalamin, the active methyl form
Rested
100µg4000% RI

The active form, generously dosed because B12 absorption varies widely at midlife.

Contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and normal psychological function.

Folate

L-methylfolate (5-MTHF), not folic acid
Rested
120µg60% RI

The form your body uses directly, no conversion required. Cheaper formulas use folic acid; we don't.

Contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and normal psychological function.

Niacin (B3)

Nicotinamide
Rested
15mg94% RI

Near a full day's reference intake, as nicotinamide for comfort (no flushing).

Contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and normal functioning of the nervous system.

Riboflavin (B2)

Riboflavin
Rested
1.2mg86% RI

Part of the B-complex backbone that keeps the formula's energy support honest and complete.

Contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and normal functioning of the nervous system.

Thiamine (B1)

Thiamine HCl
Steady
0.9mg82% RI

The quiet workhorse of the nervous-system group.

Contributes to normal psychological function and normal functioning of the nervous system.

Vitamin D3

Cholecalciferol
Strong
10µg200% RI

Double the reference intake, in line with UK guidance for adults who get limited sun.

Contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, normal muscle function and the normal function of the immune system.

Calcium

Calcium bisglycinate, chelated
Strong
50mg6% RI

A gentle, well-tolerated complement to the magnesium. Honesty note: at 6% RI this dose is below the threshold for calcium's official claims, so we don't make any. Most of your calcium should come from food.

No claim made — dose below the 15% RI threshold, and we'd rather tell you than imply otherwise.

Chaga mushroom

Extract, 10% beta glucan
Botanical
400mgRI not established

The largest botanical in the formula. A northern-forest mushroom with a long history of traditional use, as a standardised extract rather than ground powder.

No claim permitted for botanicals — described only.

Red clover

Extract, 20% isoflavones
Botanical
200mgRI not established

A source of plant isoflavones, traditionally valued by women at this stage of life, standardised so every batch delivers the same strength.

No claim permitted for botanicals — described only.

Lion's mane

Extract, 20% polysaccharides, 3% erinacines
Botanical
150mgRI not established

A culinary mushroom with a long tradition behind it, at a dual-standardised extract strength most blends don't disclose.

No claim permitted for botanicals — described only.

Schisandra berry

Extract, 10% schizandrins
Botanical
150mgRI not established

A berry traditionally valued in eastern herbal practice, standardised to its marker compounds.

No claim permitted for botanicals — described only.

Ashwagandha root

Extract, 10% withanolides
Botanical
100mgRI not established

A concentrated root extract, traditionally valued in ayurvedic practice. 10% withanolides is a strong standardisation; many blends use 1.5%.

No claim permitted for botanicals — described only.

Cordyceps mushroom

Extract, 40% beta glucan
Botanical
100mgRI not established

Completes the mushroom trio, at the highest beta-glucan standardisation in the formula.

No claim permitted for botanicals — described only.

Black pepper

Extract, 95% piperine
Botanical
20mgRI not established

Included alongside the botanicals, as is traditional. It's here for the formula, not the label.

No claim permitted — described only.

Forms matter

Two supplements can list the same nutrient and behave very differently. The form decides how much your body can actually use, and it's where cheaper formulas quietly save money.

P5P, not plain pyridoxine

Vitamin B6

We use pyridoxal-5-phosphate, the form your body uses directly. Standard pyridoxine has to be converted by the liver first.

Methylcobalamin, not cyanocobalamin

Vitamin B12

The active methyl form, ready to use, rather than the cheaper synthetic form that needs converting.

L-methylfolate, not folic acid

Folate

A meaningful share of people convert folic acid poorly. L-methylfolate (5-MTHF) skips the conversion entirely.

Bisglycinate chelates

Magnesium & calcium

Minerals bound to glycine are gentler on the stomach and well absorbed. It costs more per kilo, and it's worth it.

Made properly

The boring bits are the trust bits. Here's how the formula gets from raw ingredient to your pouch.

Made in the UK

Manufactured in a cGMP-certified UK facility, the standard pharmaceutical-grade products are held to.

Third-party batch-tested

Every batch independently tested for identity and purity. Ask for the certificate of analysis for your batch number.

Standardised extracts

Botanicals are standardised to marker compounds, so every pouch delivers the same strength, not whatever the harvest happened to be.

Nothing to hide

Vegan capsules, no hormones, every dose printed. No proprietary blends, because that trick hides underdosing.

Where our claims come from

Every functional statement on this site is drawn from the Great Britain nutrition and health claims register, the official list of what food supplements are permitted to say, nutrient by nutrient. If a claim isn't on the register, we don't make it, however good it would be for business.

The most honest sentence in this category is "we're not allowed to say that". You'll find it on this page more than once.

That's also why you won't see us promise relief from any symptom, compare ourselves to prescription treatments, or dress botanicals up in claims they don't hold. Bloomelle is a food supplement: a steady daily foundation of vitamins, minerals and considered botanicals. Your GP remains the right person for diagnosis and treatment, and we'll happily hand them our full panel.

Questions about the formula

Why is the calcium dose so low?
Deliberately. Calcium is bulky, and most of yours should come from food. We include a gentle chelated amount to complement the magnesium, and because it's below the 15% RI threshold we make no calcium claims at all. We'd rather explain that than quietly imply otherwise.
Are the botanical doses meaningful?
They're standardised extracts, not ground powder, so the strengths are concentrated and consistent: 400mg chaga at 10% beta glucan, 100mg ashwagandha at 10% withanolides, and so on. Every strength is printed above, which is exactly what "proprietary blend" labels are designed to avoid.
Is it vegan? What about allergens?
Yes, the capsule and everything in it is vegan, with no hormones. If you have a specific allergy, email us and we'll send the full specification for your batch before you order.
Can I take it with HRT or medication?
Many of our customers take Bloomelle alongside HRT. If you take any medication, check with your GP or pharmacist first, and use the button above to send them the full panel.
Will the formula change?
Honestly, yes, one day. We're always learning from customers and from the science, and when we improve the formula we'll say exactly what changed and why, on this page.
